|1. Gear Position|
|CL series telegraph has 11 gear positions:Full, Half, Slow, Dead slow, Standby, Stop, Fin, Dead slow, Slow, Half, Full. Once the transmitter didn't synchronize with the receiver, the light flashes along with the alarming sound. If synchronized, the lights are always on.|
|2.Power failure alarm|
|If the main power (AC220V) failed, it will automatically turn to DC24V along with audible and visual alarm and closing contact output. Once the main power gained, alarming sound disappeared. .|
|Press the test key more than 2s to choose the suitable light.|
|The alarm LED of the transmitter,receiver and repeater will flash and the built-in buzzers will sound and output close contact when the engine operates in the wrong way. Error corrected, the alarm stopped.|
|Press unlock key first when make orders, operate within 5s otherwise unlock again.
Press K2 key to make transmitter or receiver stay unlock.
If no answers, indicator flashes with buzzer sounding. Mute key in transmitter can silent the buzzing.
If answer correctly, the indicator is on always without buzzing.
Generally speaking, there are 9 kinds of car bells: forward, forward one, forward two, forward three, stop, backward, backward one, backward two and backward three. If the pilot wants to use the forward two, push the car clock to the forward two position and send the car command to the engine room, the engine room will hear the bell below, the engineer will push the car clock to the same position before the bell will stop (the bell of the pilot and the engine room is ringing and stopping at the same time), the engine room will immediately execute the car command and drive the main engine to the forward two. Note that before using the car is to prepare the car, the time generally requires 40 minutes in advance, after the host is ready, the driver and the engine operator also check the consistency of the car clock.
Each time the change of car orders, the control room of the bridge and cabin are required to make a record, specifically the car clock record book. The records are kept from the preparation of the car to the sea speed (SEA SPEED).
Most of the ships built after 2000 have the change of car clock recorded directly by the computer, and the appearance has changed.
