Marine globe valves:
Marine globe valves are a member of the globe valve family. Mainly used in shipbuilding. There are significant results in the corrosion resistance of seawater. It is slightly different from the stop valve of the general material. There are mainly stainless steel globe valves and brass globe valves.
The shut-off valve is a valve whose closing part (disc) moves along the centerline of the valve seat. According to this movement of the valve disc, the change of the valve seat port is proportional to the valve disc stroke. Since the opening or closing stroke of the valve stem of this type of valve is relatively short, and it has a very reliable cut-off function, and because the change of the valve seat port is in direct proportion to the stroke of the valve disc, it is very suitable for flow adjustment. Therefore, this type of valve is very suitable as a shut-off or adjustment and throttling use.
1. In the process of opening and closing, the friction between the disc and the sealing surface of the valve body is smaller than that of the gate valve, so it is wear-resistant.
2. The opening height is generally only 1/4 of the diameter of the valve seat passage, so it is much smaller than the gate valve.
The principle difference between the stop valve and the stop valve is that the stop valve only allows the liquid to flow in one direction, from one end to the other. It is a one-way valve, while the stop valve allows two-way flow. The biggest difference in structure is that the head of the shut-off valve and the stem are connected as one body, but the shut-off check valve is separate.

The marine shut-off check valve is a multi-purpose valve that has both the shut-off valve and check valve functions. Its structure is similar to the stop valve, but the valve stem and the valve disc are not fixedly connected. When the valve stem descends to press the disc tightly on the valve seat, it acts as a stop valve; when the valve stem rises, it acts as a check valve.
