Marine winches are light and small lifting equipment (see hoisting machinery) that use a reel to wind a wire rope or chain to lift or tow heavy objects, also known as a hoist. The winch can be used alone or as a component in machinery such as lifting, road construction and mine hoisting. It is widely used because of its simple operation, large rope winding volume and convenient displacement.
There are two types of winches, manual and electric. The transmission mechanism of the handle rotation of the manual winch is equipped with a stopper (ratchet and pawl), which can keep the heavy object in the required position. The manual winch used for assembling or lifting heavy objects should also be equipped with safety handles and brakes. Manual winches are generally used in places with small lifting capacity, poor facility conditions, or no power supply.
Electric winches are widely used in places with heavy work and large traction requirements. The electric motor of the single-drum electric winch (pictured) drives the drum through the reducer, and a brake is installed between the electric motor and the input shaft of the reducer. In order to meet the needs of lifting, traction and rotation, there are also double drum and multi-drum winches.
Marine winches series:
1, marine electric winches,
2, marine pneumatic winches,
3, marine ladder winches,
4, marine hand-cranked winches,
5, marine steel rope winches,
6, marine explosion-proof double drum winches.
Classification of winch
Large-tonnage non-standard hoist: mainly used for hoisting, pulling, pushing and dragging heavy objects. Such as the installation and disassembly of various large and medium-sized concrete, steel structure and mechanical equipment. Its structure is characterized by orderly arrangement of wire ropes, reliable installation with cranes, suitable for road and bridge projects such as wharfs, bridges, ports, and large-scale factories and mines installation equipment. It is a way to use external force (such as electric motors) to drive him to run, and then use electromagnetic brakes and locks. The brake controls it to not run freely without power. At the same time, after being driven by the motor to decelerate, it drives a wheel to run, on which a steel cable or other things can be wound.
